As the time is flying by I apologize for neglecting my blog a bit. I have been cooking like crazy and photographing, but alas there has been little time to compose the posts.
Recently I have attended two meetings of the Sephardic Temple Cookbook Committee. We have formed a committee to write a cookbook containing member’s recipes and stories. The Sephardic Temple has a diverse membership with cooks from Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, Island of Rhodes and many other places where Sephardim lived and developed cuisine. The lunches are very fun and educational, involving important “food tasting”.
I have also begun working on my own unique cookbook proposal with my dear editor which will contain my Sephardic home recipes and is in large part an outgrowth of this blog.
I promise to post a recipe in a day or so. In the meantime enjoy the pictures and, no pun intended I will keep you posted.

Wonderful news! The Sephardic temple cookbook & your own cookbook as well. Lovely!
I know I speak for many others in saying, I’ll/we’ll, be looking forward to the day the cookbooks will be available for purchase, and for me, that day couldn’t come soon enough!
