Sukkot 2013 011

Los Angeles is really the perfect place to celebrate the Sukkot holiday.  This time of year the weather is spectacular, very warm, no humidity, super clear days give way to balmy, with a little crisp evenings.  It is perfect for dining outside under the stars. I want to give you a quick recap of last Sunday’s Sukkot menu.  Actually I held two parties.  One Thursday night September 19th.  I served Prime Rib, Chicken Breasts, Oven Roasted vegetables, a big green salad and desserts.

The other party on this last Sunday the 22nd I endeavored to create something special.  I wanted to serve a small bites buffet with all of my favorites.  It proved to be a lot of effort, but with fantastic results.  Since it was not a holiday night I was free to barbecue, fry,  and cook up a storm.Sukkot 2013 016
